Key Features
Reporting
It has never been easier to report on infrastructure performance. With a single click, users can generate essential reports such as asset movement disclosure note in the financial statements, an infrastructure performance report, a condition report, and a dynamic lifecycle-cost forecast covering up to 30 years.
Asset accounting
MAG was built with an aim to streamline asset accounting processes with full compliance with accounting standards. A dedicated team of professional asset accountant worked on this feature to ensure councils don't have any issues with the external audit enquiries.
Asset management
MAG uses condition models developed by a council for asset categories to determine asset condition levels and to calculate backlog costs and costs to reach the agreed service level using embedded algorithms.
Our dynamic forecasting model provides a 30-year lifecycle cost report, including condition, maintenance, renewal, depreciation, and carrying value, all accessible with one button. Required maintenance can be imported or determined by MAG using customizable maintenance models for individuals or groups of assets.
Transition
Transition to MAG is easy and straightforward. All original technical and financial assets data is copied into a template Excel file which is then imported into MAG in a couple of minutes. In case you decide to stop using MAG after some time, exporting of all data is a one click away. In other words, the exit price for moving to another system is zero
